BlueWave Mastermind

North Texas · A small room of pool owners

Run the business like you run the route.

BlueWave is a mastermind for pool service owner-operators. We compare what we charge, how we schedule, what software earns its keep, and we buy smarter together. Two founders, a short member list, no gatekeeping.

Founded by Chris Welch, FNS Pool Service and Repairs, LLC, and Morgan Cox, Aurum Pools.

Why this exists

Water chemistry has a manual. Running the company does not. What to charge for a filter clean, when to hire, whether to answer the phone yourself at seven in the morning, which software is worth the card on file. Every owner figures it out alone, usually the expensive way.

BlueWave is the room we wanted when we started. A handful of owner-operators in North Texas who will tell you the real number, look at your equipment pad, and answer when you call from a job site. Not a chemistry class. Not a lead-selling club.

We started it in 2026 because the best advice we ever got came from someone with a truck full of the same problems.

02

What we work on

Four things that decide whether a small pool company makes money or just stays busy.

01

Pricing that holds

What a weekly pool is worth in this market, what a filter clean, a pump swap, or a replaster should bring. Shared ranges so you can quote with a straight face instead of competing with the cheapest truck in the county.

02

Systems that run without you

Scheduling, routing, invoicing, reminders, and the phone. What we actually use, how it is set up, and what we stopped paying for, including the AI pieces that answer customers while your hands are in a skimmer.

03

Buying together

Equipment and chemical prices, card fees, and supply house terms. A group of shops buys on different terms than one shop, and we would rather argue from the stronger position.

04

A bench to call

Overflow work, a second opinion on a repair that will not hold, and someone who already made the mistake you are about to make. We send each other work. That is the whole point of a room.

How it works

Short list, real conversation, no funnel.

Step one

Send the form

Your company, your route, and what you want out of a room like this. Two minutes, and it comes to both of us.

Step two

Talk to a founder

One call. We ask about your route, your pricing, and what is stuck. You ask us anything. Not a sales call, and there is no pitch deck.

Step three

Start Monday

Members meet Monday mornings before the first stop. One problem on the table, one number to fix, and the week planned.

We keep the list small on purpose. If a season goes by and the room is not earning its keep for you, say so and we will part friends. Dues and terms are settled on the call, not on a pricing table.

The two of us

BlueWave is Chris and Morgan. No board, no silent partners, nobody renting the name. If something is wrong with the group, one of us is on the phone about it.

FNS Pool Service and Repairs

Chris Welch

FNS Pool Service and Repairs, LLC · Flower Mound, Texas

Repairs, equipment, and remodels across the DFW area. Authorized Pentair dealer. Runs a field-built operation on software he set up himself, which is why the systems conversation here is not theoretical.
